Building a Stable Foundation for Growth
A major organizational restructuring at a defense firm created seven
new operational centers that needed to integrate and mature rapidly in
order to improve service levels to serve customers.
Global Aperture collaborated with business center leadership to design
a shared, 10-element model for business maturity, identified targets for
further commonality and integration, and conducted a series of multi-day
events designed to build a focused set of implementation plans to accelerate
operational center readiness.
As a result, each business area has applied the maturity model to its
planning, identified detailed implementation plans, and set aggressive
customer service level targets for achievement within two quarters.
