A ‘Sherpa’ Approach to Strategy
A Fortune 50 corporation was undergoing a massive consolidation of eight siloed engineering divisions into a single organization, with a mandate to support the entire corporation's needs. Resistance to change was building throughout the corporation, and the clock was ticking to meet cost reduction targets.
Partnering with the leader of one group being integrated into the new organization, Global Aperture worked shoulder-to-shoulder with the client executive to accelerate the integration. We designed and facilitated a strategy session, bringing together leaders from across the corporation to draft the integration strategy develop the value proposition, and a plan for disposition of the facilities and assets, and the assignment of personnel.
Throughout the engagement, we partnered with the client executive to offer insights and learning from past organizational transformations, coaching the leader on ways to increase leadership and team effectiveness and accelerate realization of cost savings in excess of $50 million.
